For a 1st novel this story started out a little slow but by the 4th or 5th chapter everything seemed to come together and it became a pleasure to read with different people building up character with a very good ending and a cliff hanger to leave you looking forward to the authors next book.

This was such a lovely story, a romantic love story. The town comes alive as you read it and you will feel like a part of the community of Spencer City.

I was very entertained by this first novel, set in an area that I grew up in. The characters are believable and you can follow the story line easily.
